Mr. Asa Lemon suffered a painful accident Tuesday night at Lemon Brothers Garage. He had been at work on an automobile and washed his hands as he was leaving his work, using the gasoline to get the grease, etc., of the machinery from them. Though he believed he had dried his hands with a towel, he struck the match to make a light in the office. Instantly the match flame ignited the gas from the gasoline on his hands and the flames ran over his hands and arms before he could do anything. Mr. Lemon’s clothing was badly burned and both arms and hands had the skin burned from them. He suffered much pain from the burns, but they are reported as not being serious, and he is expected to be able to be about his affairs again in a week.
