The Jonesboro News
Mr. and Mrs. L. L. McMullan, and children, of Jonesboro, and Mrs. W. F. 
McMullan and Miss Clyde McMullan, were the guests of Mr. S. P. Carnes and 
family Sunday.

Mr. B. D. Campbell and Miss Ila Campbell, of Atlanta, were the guests of their 
parents near here last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Mack Carnes were the guests of relatives at Stockbridge Sunday.

Mr. Jim Cook, of Atlanta, is the guest of his sister, Mrs. J. C. Campbell this 
week.

Mr. Will Edwards, who was severely cut last week, is slowly improving at this 
writing.

Mr. John Wallis, of near County Line, passed through this community Tuesday, en 
route to Jonesboro.

Most of the farmers around here are about of the grass.
