M. CARMICHAEL spent Tuesday in Atlanta. ~Mr. WHIT RUSSELL has been at home on the sick list for several days. We trust that he has recovered ere this. ~Mrs. L. D. KING and little daughter, ANNA, went to Atlanta Tuesday to meet Mr. KING on his return from Morrelton, Ark. ~Messrs FRANK COPELAND and WILLIAM PULLIN made a business trip to Atlanta Wednesday. ~Misses ANNYE PEEBLES, LAFON BANKSTON and Mr. PARKER BROWN, of Jenkinsburg were in the city Saturday. ~Dr. H. W. COPELAND, of Jackson, attended the dinner given in honor of Mr. E. M. COPELAND’S 50th birthday. ~Mr. WILSON PULLIN will move his family into part of the house now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. LEVI TURNER. ~Mrs. MARVIN TURNER went to Jackson Monday at noon to visit her aunt, Mrs. MOLLIE HARRIS, who has been ill for the past two weeks. ~We regret to learn that LOUISE BROWN had to submit to an operation for appendicitis Saturday. We trust that it was entirely successful and that she may soon recover. ~Mr. and Mrs. ARTHUR C. WILSON, Messrs. CARLOS and JACK WILSON, and Mr. and Mrs. N. FREEMAN LAND and daughter, ADELAIDE, and Mrs. JAS. H. LAND, of Jackson, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. CHARLES KIMBELL.
