The Henry County Weekly November 23, 1923
~Among the visitors to prayer meeting Sunday night were the Messrs. Steger, of 
Williamson, Miss Keron Blissitt and her guest.

~Miss Elon Sims, of Oakland, spent the weekend with relatives here.

~Mr. and Mrs. Oxford Barnett spent Sunday p. m. with Mr. Walter Barnett’s 
family.

~Messrs. Coppridge and Futral, of Griffin, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 
Allen Rape Sunday.

~Miss Nannie Jane Harrison, of Luella, spent Saturday with Mrs. T. B. Hincy.

~Miss Laura Anderson is spending some time with Mrs. Martha Rape.

~Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Elliott gave an opossum dinner Friday.

~Miss Ethel Roan returned from a weeks visit to her grandparents Sunday.

~Mr. Huie Woods, of Atlanta, was a visitor here Sunday.

~Mr. Wesley Patterson has recently moved into this vicinity.

~Mrs. Martha Rape and Miss Anderson spent Thursday with Mrs. H. W. Rowan.

~Mrs. T. J. Elliott spent Tuesday in Stockbridge with her sister.

~Mr. Jim Dingler has purchased a pretty new buggy, so, the girls can look out!

~Mr. Irby Elliott and Miss Thompson were in Greenwood  Saturday.

~Mrs. John Woodward has the sympathy of her many friends here in the loss of 
her father, Mr. Joe Carmichael.

~We are glad to note that Mr. Ben Pendley’s baby has improved.
