HAYNES REUNION GREATLY ENJOYED
     The annual reunion of the Haynes family was held at the home of Mr. Nelson 
Austin, last Sunday. The reunion has been held annually for thirty years past, 
and has become a permanent fixture in the minds of all connection of the 
kindred.
     The reunion last Sunday was pronounced to be one of the best that has ever 
been held. Mr. Nathen Haynes, of Tunis, was chairman of the day, he being the 
oldest of the Haynes generation living. Music was enjoyed throughout the entire 
day. One of the leading features of the day was the Rex String Band, and the 
selections rendered by them were greatly enjoyed.
     At the noon hour the big crowd present enjoyed a real feast of good 
things. The people had made ample preparations to entertain the large crowd 
expected. Dinner was spread on one of the longest tables we have ever had and 
which was fairly loaded down with good things to eat, with plenty of ice tea 
and ice water to drink. We all enjoyed the day to the fullest extent. 
Announcement was made that the reunion will be held on the same date next year.
