The Henry County Weekly September 21, 1923
     The Henry County Fair for 1923 is now an assured fact if thorough 
organization can make it such. In response to a call issued by Mr. C. C. 
FARGASON there was a mass meeting of citizens interested in making the fair a 
success held in the court house last Thursday at which time officers and an 
executive committee were elected. It was agreed to hold a meeting of the 
executive committee last Monday in the Farmers and Merchants Bank and at this 
meeting the following committees were elected for the various departments of 
the fair program:
