D. McCullough at Stockbridge last Monday night and secured about four hundred dollars worth of merchandise. They entered the store from the front just as they did recently in McDonough and Locust Grove, and from all indications, it seems very likely that it was the same parties that burglarized the stores in other towns. The officers at Stockbridge traced the burglars in the direction of Atlanta, but lost the clue when they struck the paved roads in Fulton County. It seems that there is an organized band of thieves operating in middle Georgia, as a number of towns and cities have been visited by them.
