The Henry County Weekly June 1, 1928
Georgia, Henry County
     Will be sold before the Courthouse Door at McDonough in Henry County, 
Georgia, on the FIRST TUESDAY IN JUNE 1928 between the legal hours of sales to 
the highest bidder for cash, the following described land, to-wit:
“One third (1/3) of the 110 acres of the DEMPSEY LONG land, being the 37 acres 
on the East side of the 110 acre tract formerly adjoining BILL MITCHELL and BOB 
GILBERT and being in the Stockbridge Militia District of Henry County, Georgia, 
about 4 ½ miles South of Stockbridge, and bounded: North by lands of B. 
COOGLER; East by JOHN GILBERT and T. D. STEWART; and South by lands formerly 
owned by JIM HIGHTOWER; and on West by HENRY LONG.”
     Said property levied on as the property of MATTIE SHELLEY, to satisfy 
State and County Tax Fi Fas for the years 1924, 1926 and 1927 against HENRY 
LONG; STELLA JACKSON, and MATTIE SHELLEY. Which Fi fas issued by WYATT ROWAN 
Tax Collector of Henry County, Georgia. Tenant in possession notified.
