G. Smith left Tuesday by motor for New York to attend the graduating exercises at Columbia University where Miss Talitha Smith receives her M. A. Degree in the literary department. Miss Smith has attained a high record of scholarship in that institution where only two men made higher marks than she and one of those was a professor. We are justly proud of the achievements of our splendid young people.
