The Henry County Weekly October 12, 1923
     The following civil and criminal business was disposed of at the monthly 
and quarterly terms of the County Court for October:

~State vs. JOHN FLETCHER, Larceny, verdict of guilty, $25.00 or six months on 
the chaingang. 

~State vs. JESSIE POWELL, owing liquor, plea guilty and sentencing to twelve 
months on the chaingang or to pay a fine of $100.00. 

~State vs. JORDAN DURAND alias JORDAN JOHNSON, Larceny, pleas of guilty and 
fined one hundred dollars or to serve twelve months on the chaingang.

~A. P. MORGAN Grain Co. Vs. H. J. OWEN, Suit on Note, judgment for plaintiff. 

~The 23rd Ward Bank vs. F. M. SETZER, Suit on account, judgment for plaintiff.

~E. J. GLEATON, transferee vs. JAMES BARNES, Defendant and B. F. BARKLEY, 
Claimant, verdict for plaintiff. 

~First National Bank of McDonough, Ga. vs. JOHN R. SMITH, defendant, SMITH-
NEWMAN Mfg. Co. ~Garnishee. Suit on account Judgment for plaintiff. 

~Bank of Stockbridge vs. J. A. PHILLIPS, Suit on note, judgment for plaintiff.

~Bank of Stockbridge vs. GARLAND THOMPSON and T. C. KELLEY, suit on note, 
Judgment for plaintiff.

~H. V. KELL Co. vs. KELLEY and CRUMBLEY, suit on note, judgment for plaintiff.

~B. B. BROWN Co. vs. H. A. ADAMS, suit on note and judgment for plaintiff.

~First National Bank of McDonough, Ga. vs. W. M. CLEVELAND, suit on note, 
judgment for plaintiff.

~CATHY COPELAND Co for use of F. M. COPELAND vs. JOHN R. SMITH, SMITH-NEWMAN 
Co. Garnishee and judgment for plaintiff.
