The Henry County Weekly January 6, 1893
     Mr. Sam Lindsey, of Simpsonville, Texas, spent Christmas at this place, 
visiting relatives and renewing former acquaintances. Mr. Lindsey is a former 
Henry County boy. On January the 2nd, 1873, he left this county for the “Lone 
Star State.” On the 2nd, inst. just twenty years from the date of his first 
departure, he again bade his friends at this place adieu, and returned to his 
home in the west.
