B. Newman went over to Jonesboro last Saturday afternoon, and the latter is spending the week with her parents. ~Be sure to see C. M. Kimbell before you sell your cotton seed, on the corner opposite the Masonic Hall. Highest market price always paid. ~Mrs. Phe Bellinger left for her home in Waukeena, Fla., last week after a visit of some time to her parents, Capt. and Mrs. W. C. Sloan. ~Mr. J. Q. Nolan went down to Barnesville last Saturday and returned Tuesday with Mrs. Nolan, who had been on a visit some time to relatives. ~Judge W. A. Brown returned last Saturday from a trip to Washington, New York and Boston, and a few intermediate points, where he spent a couple of weeks on combined business and pleasure. ~Mrs. T. D. Stewart returned with her two little daughters last Saturday from Atlanta, where she has had them under treatment several weeks for sickness, and we are pleased to note their recovery. ~Mr. A. H. Price of Locust Grove advertises some rare bargains in this issue of THE WEEKLY. Among them he calls special attention to his choice flour at $3.75 per barrel, which is now cheaper than it can be bought at wholesale.
