The Henry County Weekly
     Mayor and Mrs. J. B. Dickson tendered their numerous friends an elegant and
most delightful reception, at their beautiful new home, on Thursday night of 
last week.
     It was the occasion of their wooden wedding and the many nice presents
sent in and displayed among the handsomely furnished new apartments constituted
a lovely picture indeed.
     Sweet piano, mandolin and guitar music was dispensed at intervals, by some 
of the parties present, which added enchantment as the guests mingled and 
enjoyed the social and other features of the occasion.
     At a seasonable hour dainty refreshments were served, in several courses 
and it was a most pleasurable affair throughout.
     Happy indeed were the congratulations heaped upon the genial host and 
hostess, whose charming hospitality had furnished so much enjoyment, and when 
the guests said good-night it was with hearty good wishes for the long continued
happiness and prosperity of the noble couple whose first five mile-stones of 
wedded life, this bright wooden wedding celebrated.
