The Henry County Weekly, September 7, 1923
     On the last night of the Camp meeting it was announced that there would 
be an Elliott Reunion to be held at Shingleroof camp ground Wednesday, Sept.
19, 1923, with the following committee appointed to arrange for the same.
Bail Elliott
Wm. Elliott
J. R. Elliott
A. C. Elliott
H. C. Elliott
J. C. Hightower
C. T. Elliott
H. C. Hightower
Whitt Turner
Will Turner
Blake Turner
     The above mentioned committee will please meet at the Farmers and Merchants
Bank in McDonough next Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m. to attend to this 
business.
     All the relatives connected to Uncles John Elliott, Robt Elliott, Jimmie
Elliott, Hiram Elliott, to Aunts Pollie Green, Nancy Morrow, Jennie Thompson
and Peggy Partin are invited to come to the above mentioned reunion.
     Come and bring well filled baskets and let's have a glorious reunion of 
the Elliott families who settled in Henry Co. about 100 years ago.
