The Henry County Weekly
     The members and congregation of the McDonough Baptist church are hereby 
notified of the ordination of brother William Pullin as deacon on next Sunday 
afternoon, October 14th. The pastor will be assisted by Dr. Robt. Van Deventer, 
of Jackson, Ga. and the board of deacons as a presbytery. The exercises will 
begin promptly at 2:30 p. m. The sermon will be delivered by Dr. Van Deventer 
and every feature of this special service will be interesting and instructive. 
We welcome all who can conveniently attend. The pastor will fill his own pulpit 
at 11 a. m. but there will no night service because of the protracted meeting 
at the Methodist church. Let all our members be much in prayer that the 
services thus announced may be most helpful and inspiring and do not fail to be 
present unless providentially hindered.
