The Henry County Weekly
     The Henry County Teachers Association held its regular monthly meeting 
last Saturday in the McDonough City School Auditorium, as previously announced. 
Prof. W. D. GREENE, the President, presided, and Prof. W. R. FULLERTON acted as 
Secretary Pro Tem, in the absence of the Secretary, Miss CHRISTINE S. PARKS 
whose illness prevented her attending.
     Full program, as previously published and sent out to the teachers was 
carried out. The discussions of the assigned subjects were capably and 
illuminatingly handled by the leaders; and the teachers generally entered into 
the discussion with spirit and enthusiasm.
     All present joined in announcing the occasion and the program an 
inspiration, and the morning was one of combined profit and pleasure.
     These monthly meetings are proving to be excellent in many ways, 
Instructive in methods of teaching beyond compare, they also bring the teachers 
together socially and enable each to realize that he is not alone in facing the 
trials and problems of the school room.
