Thompson happened to a peculiar accident about two weeks ago. He was out about the lot looking after some hogs, when it seemed some one struck him on the muscle of his leg just below the knee. Something seems to have given way in his leg, that he thought some one had struck him. which makes it something peculiar, as no one was near him at the time. He has been unable to walk since, but we are glad to note that he is improving at this writing.
