IN MEMORY
     On Monday evening, June 11, 1928, the death angel visited the home of Mr. 
and Mrs. Joe Evans and called away their precious baby, Mattie Jo, who was only 
10 months and 6 days old.
     Oh! how we miss that merry laugh and sweet smile. Mourn not dear mother 
and father the lost! In realms of changeless gladness, where friendship ties 
are never crushed and broken, we still may meet again.  She is gone but not 
forgotten, Her memory will never fade; Sweeter thoughts will ever linger, 
Around the grave where she was laid.  Earth has lost a precious jewel, Gods own 
hand was on it all, She is resting, sweetly resting, On His everlasting arm. 
She is free from all temptations, Safe from every storm.
