RESOLUTIONS ON DEATH OF MRS. H. H. FORBES
     Whereas, our Father on September 3rd, called Mrs. Forbes to be with Him in 
the home He has prepared for those who love Him, be it
     Resolved, that her S. S. Class “The Gleaners” of the McDonough 
Presbyterian Church, McDonough, Ga., bow in humble submission before the will 
of our Heavenly Father, who doeth all things well.
     Second, That we accord our high appreciation of her Christian life and 
character. She was a devoted wife and mother and was ever loyal to her friends; 
while she was not able to attend our Sunday School Class often, she was with us 
in spirit. During her long illness and even while suffering intensely she was 
ever patient and kind, always thanking her loved ones for every act of kindness.
     Third, That we extend to the members of her family our sincere sympathy, 
assuring them of our belief that their loss is her gain. Now that the faithful 
heart and willing hands are removed to a higher and better service.
Like the weaving of web,
It is only when the weaving stops,
And the web is loosed and turned,
That we see her real handiwork
That her marvelous skill has learned.
And at last when the task is ended
And the web is turned and shown,
She shall hear the voice of her Master;
It will say to her, “Well done!”
And the white winged angels of Heaven
To bear her hence shall come down.
And God for her wage shall give her,
Not coin, but a golden crown.
     Fourth, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family, that they 
be recorded in our class book and sent to the paper for publication.
