Murder
     Last week a difficulty having occurred between a Negro named JIM 
HARTSFIELD and his wife, living in Henry County, near Snapping Shoals, in which 
the wife had left Jim, she returned on Thursday, the 30th ult., with several 
other Negroes when a row resulted in the division of their goods, in which Jim 
was fatally stabbed by JOHN WEAVER, one of the Negroes who came back with the 
wife. John was promptly arrested and committed to jail in McDonough, and 
warrants have been issued for the arrest of four other Negroes, as accessory to 
the crime.
