Those knowing his home life realize this deeply. There never lived a boy more obedient in his home. He was a member of the Young Men’s class in Sunday School, and was taught from early childhood to love his church and his God. His mother, Mrs. Cora Hayes, is a devoted member of Flippen Methodist church, and Horace was following in her footsteps. Now he has crossed over to rest beneath the shade of the trees. In the death of Horace Hill, God will overrule all for good. A Friend.
