J. KIMBELL, on September 12, 1896, and little PAUL, aged 1 year 4 months, the first precious gem God gave them, the first precious but, to awaken in their hearts parental love, was transplanted in the heavenly garden. Short was thy visit, sweet child, in this rough and sinful world! The heavenly gardener has early transplanted the fragrant bud of thy life in a milder and purer clime, are it was darkened and embittered by sin. He yielded to the embraces of death without knowing it a penalty; he flew to the bosom of the Father with the same innocent confidence that he was wont to fall in the arms of his mother. He was victorious without a conflict and saved without a probation; thrice happy little PAUL! Dear parents, mourn not, nor complain at His will, for God has a right to His jewels. Let his little beckoning hands keep your hearts lifted heavenward, remembering that, though the child cannot return to you, you can go to him.
