CHARLES M. KIMBELL FALLS ON SLEEP Mr. C. M. Kimbell died at his home about two miles west of McDonough, early Tuesday morning, after an illness of several months duration. He was born and reared in this county, and was one of its most prominent and well known citizens, who had been closely connected with the business interest of our town and county for quite a number of years, accept for a few intervening years, when he made his residence in Jackson, Ga., where he served as city councilman and was engaged in other business in that city for some years before moving back to McDonough where he has since resided. He is survived by his wife and three young sons, James, Charles and Marian Kimbell, two brothers, Mr. Lon Kimbell, and Mr. J. O. Kimbell, all of Henry County. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church in McDonough, Wednesday afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. G. W. Hamilton and Rev. Ansley C. Moore officiating, the board of Stewards of the Methodist Church acting as pallbearers, with interment in the city cemetery. D. T. Carmichael, funeral director in charge.
