McGarity who departed this life June 10, 1928. He was 36 years of age. He leaves three sisters, three brothers and a host of friends to mourn his going away. It seems so hard to give him up, he was always so kind and devoted to us, and why God in His all wise providence has taken Uncle Robbie, we know not now, but we will know some sweet day, but He doeth all things for the best. Oh! how hard it is to think that I can never see Uncle Robbie again and how we will miss those sweet letters, for he was so good to write. His memories will never fade; Sweeter thoughts will ever linger, Around the grave where he is laid. Dear Uncle has left us, His smile we see no more: Our hearts are filled with sadness, For time can heal the sore. More and more each day we shall miss him. Friends all thing the wound is healed, But little they know the sorrow That is in our hearts concealed. Earth has lost a precious jewel, Gods own hand was it all; In His wisdom it has pleased Him, He was ready for his call, Fare the well how hard to speak Such a long farewell; But, alas we must leave you, In your lonely home to dwell. He is resting, sweetly resting, On his everlasting arms. He is free form all temptations Safe from every storm.
