MR. ROBERT MCGARRITY PASSES INTO THE BEYOND
     Died, at his country home June 10, 1928, Robt. McGarity aged 35. He is 
survived by three sisters, Mrs. Dock Elliott, Mrs. Paul Patterson and Mrs. 
Raymond Hooten; and three brothers, Mr. Seab McGarity, Mr. Floyd McGarity, and 
Mr. Ernest McGarity.
     The funeral was from Turner’s Church Monday, 11 a. m., Rev. Horace Smith 
officiating.
     The silver cord is loosed, the golden bowl is broken, the dust has 
returned to the earth as it was; the spirit has returned to the God who gave 
it. The devoted boy who remembered his Creator in the days of his youth, ere 
the evil days came, or the years drew night when he should say I have no 
pleasure in them, has finished his course and reached the heavenly goal while 
yet an infant in the race of life.
