MRS. M. E. NOEL DIES AT RESIDENCE AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS
     Mrs. Tina Noel, the wife of Dr. M. E. Noel, well-known Atlanta physician,
died Wednesday night at the residence, 61 Briarcliff Place after an illness
of about a week.
     The funeral was held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the home, and 
interment was in North View cemetery. Awtry & Lowndes had charge of the 
arrangements.
     Mrs. Noel, who formerly was Miss Tina Maxwell, of McDonough, had made
her home in Atlanta for the past twenty years. She was a member of the Kirkwood
Methodist church, and took part in the activities of the Bible class.
     She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Miss Nellie Kate Noel; an
infant son, M. E. Noel, Jr.; five sisters, Mrs. G. D. Ketchins, Mrs. G. D. 
Thompson and Misses Kate, Claire and Martha Maxwell.
