The Henry County Weekly, March 5, 1897
DEATH
     On Wednesday last the season of sadness rested upon the entire family of 
W. I. and Lottie Parr. Grim death snatched away their sweetest flower, a bright 
and promising little girl eighteen months of age.
     God plucked the fair Lilly from earth to transplant it in heaven, to bloom 
and flourish with the angels forever.
  Though a link is missing in their bright chain of Love
  A blank is filled in heaven above.
     May God bless the bereaved parents.
