MORTUARY.

Gaineville, Ga., February 7-
After a lingering illness Mrs. Susie Pierce died at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Thomas L. Sutton, 37 Pryor street.  For some time prior to her death she 
had been here spending the while with her daughter under the care of physicians 
and in hope that the climate here would be of benefit to her.  She was 78 years 
of age.  The remains were accompanied to Hampton Sunday afternoon, where the 
funeral was preached at her former home, and where the remains were tenderly 
placed in the last resting place.
