DEATH OF MRS. R. F. SMITH OF LOCUST GROVE
     The  Weekly regrets to note the death of Mrs. R. F. Smith which occurred 
at her home at Locust Grove on Sunday the 4th, day of Nov. She had been in 
declining health for several years, and while her friends and loved ones had 
known for some time that the end was near, yet it was a shock to them when the 
end came. She was a noble woman and will be missed in her community. She is 
survived by one son, Dr. L. G. Smith, of Texas, and four daughters, Mrs. C. E. 
Eubanks, of Griffin, Mrs. L. W. Houser, of Elko, and Misses Margaret and Delia 
Smith, of Locust Grove, and a host of friends and relatives. Her remains were 
laid to rest in the cemetery at Locust Grove the day following after 
appropriate funeral services conducted by Rev. B. D. Ragsdale, of Macon.
