DEATH OF MRS. J. N. WALL
     On Sunday morning March 20th, the life of a dear wife and mother was 
ushered gently into another world. Her death causes sadness throughout the 
neighborhood in which she lived and she 
leaves numerous friends and relatives to mourn her death.
     She is survived by her husband, Mr. J. N. Wall, six daughters, Mrs. T. H. 
Stroud, Mrs. H. H. Fisher, Mrs. H. H.  Maffett, Mrs. L. C. Moseley, Mrs. T. H. 
Cawthon and Mrs. M. M. Allum, three sons, J. P., J. A. and J. S. Wall.
     No pen can ever reveal the pent up sadness that lingers in the depths of 
our hearts for everywhere we look we are reminded of mother. We see countless 
things that her own dear hands made and caressed with loving care; on the walls 
of the old plantation home place hangs numerous pictures of her smiling face 
ever characterizing the love and sympathy that shone in her eyes and the glory 
and radiance that encircles the being of a pure unblemished personage.
     As a mother she was patient and watchful; as a wife she was loving and 
devoted. For fifty years they reveled in the blessedness of a happy married 
life, and until her death they were still lovers. They had witnessed the joys 
and sorrows of life together, but still their love was as strong s the 
foundation of the universe.
     It is true possibly, that in the course of time, God in His mercy will 
heal the wounds of sadness that reign in our hearts but we shall never forget 
the mother to whom our life and hopes seemed to cling so tenaciously. May He 
help us through this trying time when we need so strongly His guidance.
