It seems that he had been home to spend several days and returned to Paschal yesterday, Monday afternoon. He was on his way back to Mauk’s where he had been working as a carpenter on the A.B.&A., and it is thought that while waiting for a train at Junction City, he sat down on the track and went to sleep. He was laying on the track when the engine struck him and his body was badly mangled. Willoughby was brought to Talbotton Monday night about eleven o’clock and given the best medical attention, but he was too badly cut up to recover. He died at the A.B.&A. depot here about seven o’clock Tuesday morning. His remains were shipped to his former home for burial. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/
