DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     It pains us to record the death of Mr. William Woods, which transpired at 
his home near Island Shoals, in Henry County, Saturday afternoon, March 16th. 
Aged about 86 years. He was an  upright, honorable, high toned gentleman. He 
was generous, kind and charitable. He was the father of Mrs. A. H. S. Davis, of 
Covington. He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his departure. Peace 
to his spotless memory and rest to his immortal soul.
