THOMAS JAMES CARTER, 1857-1928

Thomas James Carter was born November 23, 1857 in Henry Co. He was the third 
oldest son of Leonidas D. and Priscilla(Nelms)Carter. He married Mary Elizabeth 
Cawthon in Henry Co. December 19, 1878. The couple had three sons, Grover Lee, 
Raymond Gordon, and Grady Wood Carter, and a daughter, Della Bryon Carter. 
Thomas died July 2, 1928, and is buried at Sardis, beside Mary, who died in 
1924. There was a date on this image, but I have currently not located that 
information.
