Posey went by the Grave-yard where my mother was buried..to Willis(?) Head’s..to Mr. Moor’s all night”. The 7th:-“at Mr. Moor’s..enjoyed myself finely’’. The 8th:-“I went to L. B. Mason’s-ate diner-in the afternoon to the wrighing school at Sardis”. The 9th:-“by John Hail’s to T.(Thomas)J. Martin’s-Mr. & Mrs. Martin was gon to Thomas B. Gelaspie”. The next day at noon-“went to Manson(?)Stroud’s for to sell him a mule-he was not at home-back to school-at night home with T.(Thomas) J. Williamson..went with Miss Winey(Williamson)to Mr. Thompson’s to meeting (likely a church meeting at George L. Thompson’s)..came back(overnight)’.
