September 14-30, 1855

The 14h continued: "..Others-all night-child very bad".

The 15th: "went with C.(?)Lith(?)home-back to meeting-came home".

The 16th: "went to meet(ing)-came home-in the eve Br. White came-I went to 
church with him at night"

The 17th: "at home-in eve went to S. Shoals-some rain-came back-went to J. B.'s-
then home-I wen(t) as a committee from the church-came back".

The 18th: "went to D. L.'s, W. H.'s, J. Bledsau's(?)-came back-went (went)to 
church-thence to J. B.s -back to T. H. B.'s to bridge on Walnut creek-me & T. 
H. B.-back to his house-to(to) church-meet(ing?) broke-I came home".

The 19th: "at home-went in eve after Dr. Turner-with him four miles above his 
house-he came with me".

The 20th: "wen(t) to a barbacue in town-came back to W. B. Ammon's all night-
[above line: "American's dinner"].

The 21st: "came home then went to T.(Thomas)Sharps-there eat dinner-about said 
com. (committee?)-T. H. B. (&) J. B. came-I went(?)to J.(?)B.s-wrote a letter
(to) Mt. Calvery church-came home".

The 22nd: "went to S.(?)Turner's with Mrs. Grant-came back to S. school-thence 
home all eve-Mrs. B.(Bryans) (here)all night-child better".

The 24th: "came to school(?)-4 scholars-windy & cloudy-dismissed untill Tuesday 
week-in eve went to S. Shoals-Mr. 1 with me-came back".

The 25th: "at plantation & about with Mr. 1"

The 27th: "went to town to a show-came home".

The 29th: "again to town-Barbacue-went-it was a Anty Americans din-went home 
with I. H. Bryans all night".

The 29th(entry error?): "went went to Jonesburor(?)-his waggin(?)-came back all 
night"

The 30th: "started home-stoped (at) S. sc(h)ool-me & I. B. H. Bryans".
