Snapping Shoals United Methodist Church is located in Henry County, GA 
about 1/4 mile SSW of the South River and the Newton County line, near the 
ghost town of Snapping Shoals. Take County Road 81 (Keys Road) east from 
McDonough, GA for about 11 miles, turning right on River Road, just before 
the Newton County line. Follow River Road for about 1/2 mile until it dead 
ends at Old Snapping Shoals Road. Turn left and proceed for several 
hundred yards. The church will be on the left side of the road at the top 
of a sweeping hill.
