The Henry County Weekly, September 11, 1891
BEERSHEBA
     Thursday evening at seven o’clock, in the church at Snapping Shoals, Mr. 
Sam Aikens and Miss Mary Marston were united in the holy bonds of wedlock, Rev. 
C. C. Davis, of Atlanta, officiating. There was a large crowd present to 
witness the ceremony. Mr. Aiken is salesman for Mr. C. S. Jarboe, at Snapping 
Shoals, and is a bright and business young man, while Miss Mary is one of 
Snapping Shoals’ most accomplished an intelligent young ladies. We wish for 
them much success in life.
