R. Moore, of Henry county, had loved for some time, but stern parents refused their consent to the union of hands where the hearts had already gone. Yesterday morning they got together and came to the city, procured a license and proceeded to Justice Sorrel's office and were soon made one. The bride is a daughter of Mr. Bailey Weldon, of Cabins District, and the groom is a prosperous young farmer of Henry county. About an hour after the ceremony, Mr. Weldon appeared at the J. P.'s office, but did not have much to say when he found that he had a new son-in-law. - GRIFFIN NEWS, SUNDAY File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/henry/vitals/marriages/mr1496weldon.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
