It was a quiet home event, only the immediate families of the contracting parties being present. The Rev. J. E. England, father of the groom, performed the cementing ceremony. The bride is the youngest daughter of our fellow townsman, Mr. M. A. Norman, and one of our city’s most beautiful and attractive young ladies. Truly is Mr. England to be congratulated upon winning such a life mate. Mr. England is a son of our beloved Methodist pastor, the Rev. J. E. England and a young man of pleasing personality, force of character, and bright promise. He is one of the reliables in the Weekly office, whose entry into the rosy realm of matrimony leaves the rest of us far behind in the arid regions of bachelorhood. Mr. and Mrs. England are at home to their friends at the residence of the Rev. J. R. England. May their days be as many and full of blessings as are the countless good wishes, the heart’s full, of The Weekly and their many friends for them.
