    At the residence of Mr. S. M. Oglesby, father of the bride, Mr. Wm. B. 
Carmichael and Miss Carrie Oglesby were married last Wednesday afternoon by Rev.
E. Culpepper.
     It was a very pretty, quiet affair witnessed only by the immediate 
relatives and a few special friends.
     Mr. Carmichael is a prosperous young farmer of this county, and is an 
energetic and affable young gentleman. Miss Oglesby is one of Henry county's 
most lovely social gems, and the fortunate groom should indeed congratulate
himself upon securing such a prize in the lottery of life.
