[missing title] ACADEMIES. 1832 Vol. 1 -- Page: 3 BIBB That Joseph Washburn, Isaac Harvey, Edward W. Wright, Christopher B. Strong and Charles J. McDonald, and their successors, be appointed trustees for the Bibb county academy. BIBB And that Ralph Howard, Demsey Justice, Nathan Raines, James W. Alston, Jesse Moran, and [Illegible Text] successors in office, be and they are hereby declared to be trustees of the Union academy, in the county of Bibb. 1837 BIBB Sec. 33. And be it further enacted, That Thomas Gates, Henry Newsome, Joshua Jordan, Simon Parker, and Lewis Laushe (Lawshe?) be, and they are hereby appointed Trustees for Warrior Academy, in the county of Bibb. NOTE: See below on Henry Newsome and Lewis Lawshe BIBB Sec. 34. And be it further enacted, That Aaron Lessel, James R. Buzbee, James McElmurry, Zachariah Cowart, and Green McDonald be, and they are hereby appointed Trustees for Rutland Academy, in Rutland's district, in the county of Bibb. NOTES: Henry Newsome and Lewis Lawshe Henry Newsom was my GGGGF. One of his daughters, Mary A. Newsom married William C. Lawshe, a brother to Lewis Lawshe.
