Georgia )   This indenture made this 22nd day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred & thirty and in the fifty-fourth year of the Independence of
the United States of America between John Clark of the County of Houston and
Jonathan Brown of the county and state aforesaid of the other Part  Witnesseth that
the said John Clark for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars to
him paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and
confirmed and by these presents grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the
said Jonathan Brown his heirs and assigns all that tract of land or parcel of Land
containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less being known by Lot No. 196
in Fifth District Houston County to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land
with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the
said Jonathan Brown being belonging or in anywise appertaining with the remainder
and remainders & reversions rents issues and profits thereof to the only proper use
benefit and behoof of him the said Jonathan Brown his heirs executors and
administrators and assigns in fee simple and the said John Clark  his heirs
executors and administrators and all and every other person or persons shall and
will warrant and forever Defend by virtue of these presents in witness whereof the
said John Clark hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year
first above written
