Indenture between George King and Bernard Bower 22 Apr 1824 Houston Co, GA 22 April 1824 Deed Book Georgia} This indenture made the twenty second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four, and in the forty eighth year of the independence of the Untited States of America, between George W. King, of the county of Baldwin of the one part, and Bernard Bower of the county of Baldwin of the other part, witnesseth that the said George W. King for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aleved conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alieve convey and confirm unto the said Bernard Bower his heirs and assigns all that tract lot or parcel of land lying being at the term of surveying the same in the ninth district in the county of Houston in the state of Georgia and known and distinguished in the plan of said district by the number one hundred and thirty three containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less to have and to hold the said lot or parcel of land with all and singular __ rights members and appertenances reversion and reversions rents issues and profits thereof to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Bernard Bower, his heirs, Executors, administrators, the said bargained lot or parcel of land unto the said Bernard Bowers, his heirs, executors and administrators and all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents in witness whereof the said Geo W.
