Indenture between Henry McLamon and Richard Smith 01 Mar 1834 Houston Co, GA 01 March 1834 Deed Bk. F, pg. 676 Georgia } This indenture made and entered into the first Houston County } day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four between Henry McLamon of the one part and Richard Smith of the other part both of the county and state aforesaid, witnesseth that the said Henry McLamon for and in consideration of the sum on one hundred and twenty five dollars to him in hand paid before the signing and delivery of these presents the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged & hath granted bargained sold and comveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Richard Smith, his heirs, and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the sixth (6th) district of Houston County, State aforesaid according to original survey known and distinguished no the plan of said district by the west half of lot number forty (40) containing one hundred one and one fourth (101 1/4) acres, more or less.
