Indenture between James Suggs and Richard Smith 18 Sep 1833 Houston Co, GA 18 Sept. 1833 Deed Bk. __ pg. 215 Georgia } this indenture made and entered into this the eighteenth Houston county } day of September in the year of Christ one thousand eight hundred and thirty three between James Suggs of the one part and Richard Smith of the other part witnesseth that the said James Suggs for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged from the said Richard Smith hath bargained and sold unto the said Richard Smith his heirs & assigns all that tract of land known as lot No. (24), twenty four in the (10) tenth district of Houston County and also all that part of lot No. (41) forty one in the (10) tenth district of said countylying and being on the north side of Deans Spring branch, the number of acres not known, to have and to hold the said bargained premesis unto the said Richard Smith, his heirs & assigns in fee simple hereby warranting to defending the said described land unto the said Richard Smith against the said James his heirs and assigns and all other persons in witness whereof the said James Suggs has hereunto set his hand and seal the day & year aforesaid.
