Murray, Ezekiel Murray, Walker Moore, George Melville, Trustees, in trust for the use of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and their successors, in office, of the other Part, all of the county and State aforesaid. Witnesseth, that the said Lewis Suggs, for & in consideration of the regard and good will he has for the said Church, hath granted, bargained & given to the said Trustees, and their successors, in office, at and before the sealing & delivering of these Presents, and do grant and given two acres of land, lying and being in the Ninth District of Houston County, known & distinguished in the plan of said District by No. forty (40) said two acres to be on the West Line of said Lot, with all the rights, members and appurtenances with the right of way to the same thereunto belong. To Have and To Hold the above two acres, for the uses above mentioned, unto them, the aforesaid named Trustees and their successors, in office, with all the right, members and appurtenances, to the said Lot, thereunto belonging, to their own proper use, benefit and behalf in fee simple. And the said, Lewis Suggs, for himself, his heirs and Administrators and Executors, the possession thereof, unto the aforenamed Trustees, & their successors in office, will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves, and against the claim of all other persons, whatever. In testimony whereof, the said Lewis Suggs hath hereunto set his and affixed his seal, the day and year first above written.
