Hawkinsville Dispatch And News, Clipping From 1908-1910 January 14, 1908
	Tuesday, January 14, 1908
Mr. J. H. Clark, of Elko, Ga., while 
out hunting Thursday was the victim of 
a very serious accident. 
In some way a shot which had been fired 
at a bird struck a tree and glancing 
struck Mr. Clark in the eye. He is at 
the Macon hospital and the 
probabilities are that the injured eye 
cannot be saved.-Macon News.
