Born in Soperton, she was the daughter of the late Homer T. Williamson Sr. and Shellie Thompson Williamson. She was an elementary school teacher for the Houston County school system. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the School Teachers Association, where she was a past officer. She was active in the Senior Citizens Association and was a member of the AARP. Survivors: children, Joy Bacon of Warner Robins and Kerry Bacon of Bonaire; sister, Marilyn Gornto of Perry; and two grandchildren. Services: 4pm Tuesday in First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. Burial: Magnolia Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Blanton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rainbow House Childrens Resource Center, 108 Elmwood Street, Warner Robins 31093 or First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, 1135 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, 31088.
