They were out picking blackberries and she was bitten by a rattlesnake. She died in five hours. Her remains were brought to Fort Valley for burial.” We boarded with her mother several years when Gertrude was quite small and she always seemed like a sister to us. We deeply sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
