Heart trouble, we are told, was the immediate cause of her death. The interment was at the Elko cemetery Tuesday morning. Mrs. Means was about 33 years old, a most lovable christian lady, a consistent member of the Elko Methodist church. She leaves a devoted husband, two daughters, one son and other relatives, and with these sorely bereaved ones, hosts of friends sincerely sympathise [sic]. Additional Comments: Leila Hogan was born 21 February 1862. She married Matthew Singleton Means on 17 January 1883 in Houston Co., GA. He was later an attorney in Hawkinsville, Pulaski Co., GA.
